As promised, I give you the video showcasing the new grenades and UI improvements. As a bonus, I’ve also added a new optional 3rd person camera!
The camera turned out to be surprisingly easy, since I was already using a full body for the player even in 1st person.
I’m particularly proud of the path tracing for aiming the grenades. Once I iron out a couple of points to make it more dynamic and usable with any object, I plan to release it on the UE4 marketplace as an asset.
I also intend to create a new tutorial detailing how it was made, which was promised in my Jump Pad tutorial.
